So you see, SMILES (Simplified Molecular Input Line Entry Specification) is actually a line notation for molecules. SMILES strings include connectivity but do not include 2D or 3D coordinates. To obtain the SMILES for the molecular structures given by our madam, we had to first draw them in ChemSketch...It was an interesting experience...So, the pictures below are some of the SMILES that was done today, enjoy them :)

So, that all for today...These SMILES maybe tough to do but they will be very important for the finals so I'm glad that I could do them (although it's not very good :p, well, at least I learned something new!).
